It all started when I inherited my grandfathers woodworking tools which began a deep fascination learning a fine craft and working with my hands. This lead to successfully completing my Cabinetmaker qualification at Suffolk University and was followed reading a BA(Hons) in Furniture Restoration with History of English Furniture at Brunel University. After a series of internships developing my techniques with various Master Craftsmen, I began my Restoration business. It has been built on personnel recommendations working for private clients, serious collectors and antique dealers. 25 years later, we now design, make, restore and conserve by hand, fine wooden furniture, antiques and interiors. Throughout this time, working with customers with a shared appreciation in seeing fine new pieces come to life, from the earliest threads of their inspiration, to our shared joy of seeing older pieces return to grandeur, has exposed me to broad experience and built strong valued relationships with my customers. When not working at a customer site you’ll find me in one my workshops in either Cornwall or Sussex.
